It’s really not hard to spot celebrities in the Midlands. Really!
If you don’t believe us, here are eight celebrity hotspots in Birmingham for your picking should you feel like bumping into a famous person or two.
Marco Pierre White Champagne Bar
The name says it all. There’s no shortage of stars at this glitzy cocktail and champagne bar owned by famous TV chef Marco Pierre White. Go there not only to check out the who’s who (White himself is frequently spotted there) but also to take in the magnificent 360 degree view of Birmingham city at dusk.

Hare & Hounds
This is where legendary band UB40 started making music. No wonder it has become a place to rub shoulders with musicians and performers. Even Keira Knightley had been spotted here while she was filming Pirates of the Caribbean, supporting her husband James Righton whose indie band, The Klaxons was playing a gig.

Lasan has seen big names from Tim Burton and partner Helena Bonham Carter to Gary Barlow enjoying their delicious Indian fares. In fact, Barlow was so pleased that he even tweeted that Lasan had “The best Indian food I’ve ever eaten!”. No surprise there as Lasan is owned by none other than a celebrity in his own right – Gordon Ramsay.

Formerly known as Gatecrasher, PRYZM is a legendary superclub in Broad Street which has been a favourite night spot for plenty of big names such as actor Colin Farrel, boxer Joe Egan, Philippe Ashfield and Ben Drew of Plan B. Everybody loves a good lamb Balti and that includes Robbie Williams, who found his favourite at Kababish. The food is so good that even the late boxing legend Muhammad Ali couldn’t resist ordering up a storm.
