Halloween Events in Birmingham This Year

All the killer clown sightings in Birmingham lately can only mean one thing - Halloween is coming to get you!


Traditionally celebrated to remember the dead but over the years, Halloween has become a child’s favourite celebration (after Christmas, of course).

You might find yourself a little older for trick or treating but worry not, here are a list of adult-friendly Halloween shindigs happening in Birmingham that will welcome you with cold embrace:

Halloween Shows at the Coffin Works

It’s not the doing of a morbid hipster – Coffin Works was really a factory making coffin fittings! It is now home to Newman Brothers Museum and it’s hosting some very scary theatre shows for Halloween. You will be treated to a retelling of “Old Haunts: Ghostly Tales of Edwardian Menace” by MR James, on 19 October, followed by Oscar Wilde’s “The Cantebury Ghost” on 27 and 28 October.

Fright Night at Aston Hall

One of the most haunted buildings in Birmingham, Aston Hall is offering a proper scary experience for those with balls of steel. The one hour terror tour is not recommended for anyone with less than stoic disposition and most definitely not suitable for anyone under 12.

Halloween Psychic Fair

There’s nothing more apt to do on Halloween than indulging on tarot card reading, runes, palm reading, crystal ball gazing and aura photography. Check out the Halloween Psychic Fair at Zen Digbeth on 29 October. Admission is free but treatments and readings start from £10.

Night & Day Markets - Halloween Weekender with Craig Charles

You can expect a wonderful festivity of music, entertainment, arts, ales & the finest Birmingham street food at this two day event.
