Halloween Events in Birmingham This Year

by Kimberly Low on 13/10/2016

All the killer clown sightings in Birmingham lately can only mean one thing - Halloween is coming to get you!

Traditionally celebrated to remember the dead but over the years, Halloween has become a child’s favourite celebration (after Christmas, of course).

You might find yourself a little older for trick or treating but worry not, here are a list of adult-friendly Halloween shindigs happening in Birmingham that will welcome you with cold embrace:

Halloween Shows at the Coffin Works

It’s not the doing of a morbid hipster – Coffin Works was really a factory making coffin fittings! It is now home to Newman Brothers Museum and it’s hosting some very scary theatre shows for Halloween. You will be treated to a retelling of “Old Haunts: Ghostly Tales of Edwardian Menace” by MR James, on 19 October, followed by Oscar Wilde’s “The Cantebury Ghost” on 27 and 28 October.

Date: 19, 27 & 28 October 2016

Ticket Price: From £10

Venue: Newman Brothers Museum, 13-15 Fleet Street, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, B3 1JP
