Addictive, Adrenaline filled and competitive fun at its best sees Battlezone Archery becoming one of our most popular extreme activities in Birmingham. Think 60 minutes of paintball but played with bows and arrows instead with fast paced game play and a variety of different scenarios to enjoy all under the care of experienced and professional instructors. Before you get too concerned that this is the modern day stag and hen activity version of The Hunger Games though this is played with specially designed and completely safe flexible bows and round rubber tipped arrows. Check out our video below to get a flavour:-

This activity lasts one hour and happens at activity sites just outside the centre of Birmingham meaning it is easy to get to from your accommodation base and once you arrive our instructors will greet you and introduce themselves. They will then run you through how the session of Battlezone Archery will work before giving out to each stag or hen playing all safety equipment including Face Mask, Finger and arm guard and of course they will give out your weaponry for the session. Then they will start the game play of the session and the number of scenarios that could be played time permitting.

Having introduced it above and shown you a video it is worthwhile understanding exactly how the game play works.

Battlezone Archery Birmingham

Two teams of equal players face off across a purpose built field layout. Each team has 5 specially designed bunkers made by Boost Air®, 5 target cones that are placed in front of each bunker, each holding a ball. There are several objectives to the game. The scoring is very simple! You will get 30 points for an eliminated player and 50 points for a targeted cone. Each game will last for up to 10 minutes, where the scores are added and teams swap ends

The two teams are separated by a neutral zone. If a player catches an arrow, they can bring one of their eliminated players back in to the game. The game ends when either, all team members are eliminated, all 5 cones have been hit or time runs out. The umpires have a scorecard for each game and will record the points. A match is made up of 5 games. If there are numerous teams, then it is run as matches where the winning team moves through to the next round, so there will be an eventual winner

So if this activity sounds like one you would like to add to your Birmingham stag or Birmingham hen party then enquire now or add this to your weekend basket and we will be back in touch as soon as we are able.
